Another Day in Paradise

Adventures in Hiking, Bicycling, Fishing, Kayaking, Boating, Walks through the Forest, or just Relaxing by the River

Features of the cabin’s proximity to outdoor adventures include Quilcene Bay, just a few miles away.  In the summer the beach offers a great range of water activities including swimming, boating, tubing and skiing with water temperatures approaching 70 degrees.  There is a good run of fall salmon and kayaking is great on any calm day.  Seasonal clams, oysters, shrimp and crab are unforgettable pleasures for the palate.

Looking from the deck there is a view of the surrounding forest and a trail leading down to the Little Quilcene River.  At the river you will find a fire pit with rustic benches
.
The sounds of the forest are intermingled with the river’s melody as it meanders its way to Quilcene Bay.  On the deck is a gas grill and patio furniture.  On those cooler days, the view is the same from the comfort of the living room with the cozy warmth of the gas fireplace.  Satellite T.V. and stereo are included.

Our fully loaded kitchen has all the comforts of home. From the esthetics of the wood cook stove, the essence of vintage gas range, the beauty of hickory cabinets, to the dishwasher,  and utensils, make this cabin totally self sufficient.

The dining area seats four with a hide-a-way table and chairs for two more. The cabin comfortably sleeps four adults.
Children are always welcome too.
